With a history dating back over 100 years, Loyens & Loeff is the largest independent law and tax firm in continental Europe. It provides full-service legal and fiscal support to multinational organisations, financial institutions, investors and High Net-Worth Individuals. Loyens & Loeff specialises in legal and fiscal matters in its home markets: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
It does so in a unique fashion, by integrating tax, civil law and notarial expertise and through advice, transactions and litigation. The combined expertise of its various practice groups concentrates around four focus areas: Private Equity & Funds, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Energy & Infrastructure and Real Estate. We hold consistent top-tier rankings across our practice groups.
The office of Loyens & Loeff in Switzerland was officially established by two Swiss partners in 2015. In May 2017 a new office opened in the Zurich Enge area. Since then, the firm has experienced strong growth and currently has 45 employees, including six partners and two counsels. The practice groups include tax and tax filing, corporate M&A, financing, restructuring, litigation, and arbitration.
